Cayman Caravan - The Flying Adventure Of A Lifetime!
The Cayman Caravan is no longer planning tours, however, we may return to the sky in the future.

The Culinary Caravan

One of the most popular aspects of the Cayman Caravan, the Culinary Caravan is simply dinner at a different restaurant in Grand Cayman every evening.  It’s always at 7 PM, and we try to negotiate a 10% discount on food (but not beverages).  It’s a great way to get together with your new friends, talk about the day’s activities, and swap a few aeronautical stories.  Here’s the schedule for 2006.

Tuesday, June 13th.                 The Wharf
This is one of the island’s best restaurants, and one of the best locations.  It’s also where we hold the Welcoming Reception, which makes it easy – you’re already there!  Don’t miss the feeding of the Tarpon at around 9:00.  Prices are moderate to slightly high.

Wednesday, June 14th             The Lobster Pot
An all-time favorite of the Cayman Caravan.  This is a laid-back, islands kind of place.  You’ll love the seafood, as well as the proprieter – Gunter.  Prices are moderate.

Thursday, June 15th                 The Cracked Conch
We’re slowing down a bit for Thurday, and going to the deck of the Cracked Conch.  We’ve had our staff dinners here for a number of years, and it’s always a pleasure to visit with the manager, Thomas, and his fine staff.  Prices are reasonable.

Friday, June 16th                     Papagallo’s
Yet another island favorite, we’ve picked a great restaurant for a very special Friday night in the Cayman Islands.  Make sure to check the driving directions carefully – it’s a little difficult to find, but, again, well worth the effort.  Prices are moderate to high.

Saturday, June 17th                 Casa Havana
This is the Big Dog.  A five star restaurant, and an exceptional dining experience.  It’s located at the Westin, which makes it easy to get there from the Sunset Mixer on Saturday.  Prices are high, but well worth it.

Saturday, June 17th                 Lone Star
This is our “lower cost” option for Saturday night.  Since not everyone is thrilled with the prospect of fine dining and its commensurate prices, we’ve come up with a second choice for Saturday.  The atmosphere is reminiscent of Spring Break, and the prices are reasonable.

Sunday, June 18th                    Rigazzi’s
A small Italian restaurant, Rigazzi’s has a style all it’s own.  Prices are moderate.
