The Cayman Caravan is no longer planning tours, however, we may return to the sky in the future. 4 Person Life RaftBuoyancy/Deck AreaThis inflated raft provides a fresh water buoyancy of 190lbs. per person and a deck area of 3.6 sq. feet per person thus exceeding government requirements. Reliability/Long Life Raft materials and components have ben carefully selected to provide for reliability, extended life, and reduced service cost. Buoyancy tubes and decks are constructed of tough, heavy duty neoprene coasted nylon conforming to stringent government specifications. Canopies are fabricated from high visibility orange compound coated nylon to aid in search and rescue operations. All life line, retaining line, and gandle webbing are of strong, durable 100% nylon. The raft valise is manufactured from almost idestructable vinyl coated nylon with nylon velcro closures. The inflation gas release valve is one of proven dependability with over 30 years of successful operational reliability. All rafts are constructed using metal in oly the cylinder and valve assemblies thus minimizing corrosion and cosequent damage not only to rhe corroding components but deterioration of critical adjacent items such as tube, deck, and case fabrics. Further, each and every raft is pressure tested and all seams and adhesive bonds thoroughly checked prior to release. Quota samples are tested to near destruction as part of a continuing process of product analysis and improvement. |
